If i recall correctly he gives her top billing in everything because she’s his girlfriend (maybe wife at this point?) and he likes to show her off.

I can’t tell if they’ll kill her or not. For all I know they’re hinting at a plot point to come and not necessarily that she’s gonna die. I’m hoping that at least.

It won’t. Capcoms been localizing MH games just fine up till now.
The movies success or failure really won’t change that fact. If the movie fails at worst it’ll mean no more MH movies and even then considering how fucking long the RE movie series went on I doubt even that will happen.

Man, I make jokes that MH doesn’t have any story (it doesn’t) but y’know it does have a great setting you could totally set an action movie series in instead of y’know setting it in modern day and turning it into a generic monster movie. starring milla jovovich.
