Eeeeeeh. I think if they really want to make Scalebound a reality they’ll figure out a way. I mean Bayonetta is essentially Platinum doing just that to get ‘back’ DMC.

Eh. Scalebound as an IP could still be used. They just need to rename it and make the gameplay different enough. The Non-compete clause that’s undoubted in their contract is the bigger hindrance.

It was an interesting idea when I saw the first of it. But, the design of the main character put me off a lot. Especially his shit-eating attitude.
