For what it’s worth, the PC version of Senran Kagura will be uncensored reportedly.

Sony's attempting to appeal more to western markets by trying to minimize/remove the "weird" parts of the PS library, even though those niche things were what drew people to Sony consoles in the first place. They were ahead for a while, and like any big company that's in the lead for a bit, they needed to shoot themselves in the foot.

perhaps the mormons have taken over at Sony, though idk why they would require an eng translation. Maybe thats a business thing cus games only in jp are only gonna be bought by people who can understand jp or have fantanslations available so Sony dosnt see the benefit of hosting them on the non jp stores? Idk

I’m pretty sure the reason they want an english translation is because the people they have reviewing it are the ESRB, or, solely English-speaking employees.
Which means not only will they censor the art but the actual writing itself.

Well, it’s a Yoko Taro title and SE’s brought over more obscure mobage to the west. Hell, they’re bringing over one that’s already shut down in JP.
