There are still characters I want to get. But, I’m willing to wait till next suptix to get them and maybe between now and then they’ll add shiva or europa to the suptix haha…ha

So the wiki doesn’t list the two meteors special that The Sun uses? She uses it around 80% instead of Corona. It’s the reason I swapped out to Katalina specifically to damage cut that skill. It can still kill your characters if they get hit with two tho.
My tips for The Sun if your not strong enough to just kill her in a couple turns is bring Dispel for Corona if that gets left up it hurts a lot. She’s immune to gravity and from my first run seems to get immune to delay super fast too. so no point in bringing Dark Fencer.
I don’t know the name of her meteor skill but it pops up about 80-70% and lasts until she gets out of overdrive (which is a godsend because it’s much easier to manage then corona.It sends down two meteors that do plain damage to random targets. The same character can get hit with two meteors so watch out. So, Katalina’s 40% damage cut does help with it. I, also, have Zeus to mitigate some of it. If you don’t have a damage cut just make sure to heal through them.
I didn’t get into her final phase but it’s obviously a burn phase due to her getting bonus damage for every turn passed. It happens at 25% so hold off any Ougi when your approaching that. You won’t really be using Katalina’s during meteors but you’ll need to use it down because Primal Flare puts a Blind on your party members and you want all the damage possible. Put it up once she enters this phase, or once she has two diamonds.

I think I should power level Altair (for his atk up and miserable mist), put one of the DATA skills on Djetta, and also level my grid more. Swap out Quez with Rose Queen.
And hope RNG is kind and I have more TP by the time I get to the fight.
If Ryouma is the reason you can’t over-the-top video game outfits seriously anymore then you never had the ability to do so in the first place. Dude is in basic ass samurai armor.
Okay, so, I normally don’t reblog/reply to things, but if the images I just googled are actually this Ryoma guy, then, HOLY FUCK you’re wrong about it. That is nowhere near accurate to real samurai armor. His sode are shaped more like a European paulder and gardbrace instead of flat so as to essentially serve as a shield affixed to his shoulder since that is what the sode were mainly used as, a shield (also their design is fantastical as fuck and IRL would catch a blow from a sword in one of the many gaps, diverting the force into his shoulder, likely shattering it), his “helmet” isn’t at all reminiscent of a kabuto and the only thing it did right was surround the face like a menpo (also the horns would catch blows coming down towards his head and all the force of the blow would transfer into his neck, likely breaking it and killing him), the weird wrapped plates around his arm (not at all reminiscent of the kusari chain armor, oda gote forearm guard, and tekko hand guard of samurai armor) not only would lock his arms straight because there’s no way in hell those can articulate properly, but the gaps in them would be extremely easy to stab through, that neck armor (again, nothing like a Samurai’s Tare throat guard) would likely either suffocate him or exacerbate the whole “break my neck please” helmet design’s problem of channeling a lot of force into his fucking neck, he has NO LEG ARMOR (NO HIZA YOROI, NO HAIDATE, NO KUSAZURI), JUST AN OVERSIZED DICK GUARD (I GUESS ITS TRYING TO REPLACE THE KUSAZURI BUT IT CANT BECAUSE IT DOESN’T COVER ANYTHING IMPORTANT ON HIS BODY), and his armor is seemingly held together by a shitty coat which would get cut to pieces leading to chunks of his already horrible armor falling off his body after a short time in combat, which wouldn’t really be an issue considering his armor is custom made to break his neck while preventing him from fighting back at all. I mean, Samurai armor looks silly as fuck and wasn’t that great, but holy fuck I’d rather fight ten guys with AK’s wearing authentic Samurai armor than I would an angry toddler with a steak knife wearing that abomination, because sweet lord he’s liable to break his neck just putting the damn thing on if he turns his torso wrong.

And anyways; I didn’t say it was accurate. It’s still fantasy armor. I was saying it’s design was inspired basic ass samurai armor design and there is nothing over-the-top about it to someone how shatter someone’s ability to take over-the-top character designs seriously especially when there are characters that have much more over-the-top designs in comparison to other designs from the same game.
The game as maids & butlers running around on the battlefield. If someone in basic ass samurai-inspired is too much then they never had the ability to stand designs like that in the first place.
