They were introducing themselves to each other in the end so they're just straight reincarnations with no memories which subjectively feels like a massive letdown because we get no real resolution with the characters we knew, or with their friends (I guess their friends individually got some okay closure though)

Darlifra’s ending wasn’t the ending I wanted. It’s bittersweet. Hiro and Zero Two are together now forever and for always which is great but they never get to meet their friends again which sucks.
This would be my ideal ending more or less. Forgive me I wrote this at just as I was about to sleep so the logic isn’t all there.

I didn't understand the ending did they reincarnated like they just spawned as two kids with no memory of the past or did they born naturally and they just happen to look like how they did before and meet each other.

They reincarnated. As far as if they have any memories of their past life who knows. If Darlifra ever got a continuation we could find out but I’d wager probably not.
