Looking for reference. Anyone know games with really good monster design except Monster Hunter?

Honestly the creature design in Evolve is rather good. Everything looks like it had a reason to grow the way it did, from limb shape to natural armor patterns etc. pennedprince reblogged this from lilirulu and added:

The shin megami tensei series has some pretty cool and off the wall designs. The devil may cry series and bayonetta series have some pretty solid designs too.

Dragon’s Dogma if you want a somewhat realistic portrayal of classic monsters (dragon, chimera, etc.) the Witcher series has some good ones too, my faves from that are the Fiend and the Leshen
