I think I might be asexual. I have a partner of 5 years now, and I've always thought they has a much higher libido than me, to the point where I'll often times just have sex with them to appease them but it really doesn't do much for me. They always say stuff like "Once you lose some more weight, you'll have a higher libido" but I've never really placed sex high on the scale of importance... I've always seen myself as pansexual, but I think it might be more panromo and asexual? I dunno...

I can’t really say if you’re ace or not anon. Because I can’t feel what you feel. If you think your lack of arousal is “wrong” then maybe see a doctor first? Because, I personally, discovered my asexuality more or less through casual conversations with my sexually active friends.

It was a more of a “yeah, I don’t really feel that idea” + realizing I haven’t never felt any physical attraction to anyone ever + surprisingly tumblr informing their was actually a word for how I feel. Anyone I’ve ever had a crush on was a close friend, or someone I admired. So, I’m probably more panromantic…Though prior to my boyfriend most of my crushes were girls.
