Lili, I don't mean to be rude, but a lot of your woes with your parents seem like they could be avoided if you just talk it out with them that you need time for privacy when you're doing commission work and such. Even if you aren't doing commission work. Your mom seemed pretty chill when she walked in on you drawing hyper cow tiddy after all.
AnonymousI have talked it out with them. The issue is that my father literally won’t let me have the privacy I want.
I don’t actually have a bedroom. My “room” is a section of the living room blocked off by half a curtain. I wanted to get two curtains to cover my room up completely but my father won’t let me have two because (in his own words) “will fuck up the airflow”.
The best I’ve gotten out of them is that maybe they’ll build an actual wall for my room someday.
