Why don't you just take on more commissions? Studio apartments are cheap. You could get a roommate, why not live with your boyfriend? I was able to move out while being a way worse artist then you and fully support myself with art alone while having nothing but my computer, tablet and a box of clothes.
The plan was to move out with my boyfriend this year once he finishes his college course. But, he had a medical issue and had to postpone his schooling till next year.
Hopefully, this time next year we’ll be moving out/moved out together.
