Honestly, it’s long enough after 4.0 that I can definitely say this is the case…
But, boy howdy, am I pissed off they killed off Yda for Lyse. Lyse is just so pointless in so many ways.
And, Yda’s death is by far the most undignified way to go for a character so far within it the story so far. Killed offscreen, with no relevance to the plot, and just to be replaced by a character that is essentially a (bad) clone.
