I… can’t tell if that’s sarcasm because the original series of PPG had a purple powerpuff too? I might be missing context somewhere.

It’s not sarcasm. I am mad that they’d just add in another purple powerpuff (and such a blatantly pandering one) and completely ignore the existence of Bunny.
