Even insanely awful artists can make a lot of money, like Transmorpher D.D.S. It's all about how you market yourself. You're a great artist, you just don't bring anything special to the table. All you really do is pretty vanilla fanart. If you offered something like tutorials, catered to niche fetishes, do doujins or a comics with your own characters you'd make a lot more money.
