Not exactly true, it does affect the US but it will also affect everywhere in the world where other countries try to do the same, for example Mexico is making a law if someone talk about news that’s fake in their eyes or that person talked bad about them over the years, they can send that person to jail, trying to block freedom of speech to people who has something that will affect them and the corruption that’s happening over there.
