Sometimes I wonder how the world would be if the world was a matriarchy and women were naturally bigger and stronger than men but sexual reproduction stayed the same

And just an aside, no human culture ever revelled in the abuse of women. Crimes like rape and assault against women have always carried heavy punishments, often including death. The gender roles of men and women only ever existed to preserve the species.

Well the only reason men are bigger and stronger than women is because of the division of labor throughout history. It makes sense for a social species to protect its child-bearing sex and to utilise it’s non-childbearing sex for more dangerous work. If women were bigger and stronger than men, chances are we wouldn’t be a social species anymore, which means we wouldn’t have advanced and probably would’ve been out-competed by another social species.
