When I played FFXIV, I was tank, my buddy was healer. And he let me know the general rule. Tank leads the way, healer sets the pace. He generally had no qualms about letting antsy DPSs die cuz they ran ahead of the tank. Yeah, I get it, I was knew, they were just running dungeons and hated waiting. But if they’re not gonna chill, then they die. I suppose maybe the reason I didn’t die often was cuz my buddy knew what he was doing, but regardless, if our team wiped, it was generally DPS being dumb
Yeah, that’s pretty common sense.But, uh, has nothing to do with the original post I made because it was about tanks being in tank stance not keeping up aggro and/or getting shit on by tank busters.
What spawned that post was I was in Sigmascape 1: I was on RDM, and even with using my aggro CDs, I still pulled hate and died.
