So I played realm royale and I have to say, I don't know if hi rez studio just wants to jump on the fortnite bandwagon or they are just lazy but that game is just paladins copied and structure a little bit to make it seem like a new game. Like if you were to play paladins and realm royale one after the other, you wouldn't see much of a difference.
AnonymousWell, it was 100% made to jump on the Fortnite bandwagon. Just like Paladins was changed to jump on the OW bandwagon. But, the game was undoubtedly made in a couple months and they reused as much code and assets as possible. Then they released it as a whole new “game” instead of a new mode to Paladins in order to bilk more gullible idiots out of their money on micro-transactions.
The Battle Royale genre might go the way of the MMO genre except 10x as fast at this rate.
