Hopefully in the next batch of monsters after these ones they’ll introduce some non-elder endgame fights.

Elder Dragons aren’t specifically dragons in-verse, just creatures that nobody know anything about and thus can’t categorise them as anything but. Problem is… the vast majority of MonHun monsters are dragons/wyvern looking anyways, and the few that aren’t didn’t get into World. It’s a shame too, there’s giant monkeys, leeches, armadillo bears, heck, one of the “Elder Dragons” is a freaking mammoth.
