Yes but thanks to James Gunn GotG success and his influence Marvel higher ups decided to make Ragnarok into a over-the-top quipfest movie (i know the first two Thor movies where quipfest already but at least it was tolerable)
I heard the reason for the humor in Thor: Ragnarok was because of the shitty Ghostbusters remake.
