What is the recommended baby weapon for MHW?

lotusflame said: Longsword is the easiest pick up and play weapon as far as like how it works its super simple. Sword and shield has good easy combos. But has a small learning curve in what combo does what especially now that it has launchers. It can also be difficult to use on larger or aerial based monsters. Hammer if you like charge mechanics. Its very straight forward. And dual blades if you dont mind stamina drain and animation lock. Cause dual blades is just press triangle+x
