This whole “I don’t want Yoshi P designing Viera because the Au Ra thing” is the most idiotic shit I think I’ve seen the FFXIV fandom spew from their collective gobs in a while.

YOSHI-P WON’T BE DESIGNING VIERA. THEY ARE ALREADY DESIGNED. THEY WERE DESIGNED IN FF12.

The fucking article everyone is going bonkers literally implies that one of the reasons we haven’t gotten Viera is because they need to redesign & remodel all the shoe models in-game to match their raised heels.

The only thing I think people have to be disappointed about is that they’re likely going to be about a head taller then miqo’te not elezen/roegadyn levels of height*. Going by this concept art of viera here:

(*Though this might be their minimum height, and from what I can tell Viera were only about a head taller then so highlander height).

You do realize when SE was talking about not having the Au Ra like the Roegadyn, or Highlanders it wasn’t that they didn’t want to have more tall women but didn’t want to add in more females with more masculine features, right?

Viera aren’t anything like Highlanders or Roegadyn. They’re FF12′s “sexy bunny girls” for godsakes. SE isn’t going to turn Viera in Au Ra 2. They’re going to look as close as possible to FF12 as SE can make it because the devs know what people want and seriously that concept art up there shows Viera as exactly what they are.

You should be more worried male Viera would look like roes or highlanders then females not looking like they do in FF12. And even then that’s unlikely because there concept art looks very bishounen.

Oh that reminds me I had a dream this morning that SE had a community goal thing that when X amount of players completed a goal they’d add in/give the players a new item. The last prize was for “100 players leveling all classes/jobs to 70″ and it was a really cute kimono with a fur collar.

So does the transfer restriction prevent people from leaving balmung or it is just for people trying to join balmung?

Man, All the healers got good AF this expac. Shame I’ll only be able to wear ONE OF THEM.

Actually, thinking about it the devs might be saying that they removed cleric stance because there isn’t really a reason to have two sentences to say “cleric stance/esuna have been changed to role-based”.

Yoshi-P did mention he doesn’t like cleric stance. And honestly, removing it would be sooooooooo nice. Would probably help healers DPS more comfortably without the fear that CS wouldn’t come off when you click it and everyone dies.

God, I hate PotD 50+ because all anyone wants to do it quickly run through the fucking floors. God forbid you want the weapons for alt classes or something.

I figured out what I didn’t like about the name “stormblood”. It reminds me of periods.

They really need to make more non-seasonal repeatable events in FFXIV.

Like seriously they don’t need to have a completely new event just make something that can be reused and add new rewards every time it rolls around. Especially important for content lulls before and after expac.

Personally, I recommend raid-like events, and events like the Moonfire Faire when FFXIV started.

So, I noticed some JP players with a FFXIV had the Monkey/Wu Kong outfit. So, I was wondering if it got added to the JP Mogstation and not the NA/EU ones for some reason.

But it’s so much worse; It’s apart of another 7/11 campaign.

Y’know if SE does give us Sophia glamour they’ll probably do what they did with the eikon gear make it ugly as fuck and ruin all the appeal of the outfit
