This statement is really more to get the copyright holders off of Cygames back then to actually prevent them from drawing it. Unless they start suing, which Cygames isn’t gonna do because you don’t shoot the golden goose before it starts laying gacha microtransactions eggs.

I’m laughing my ass off because cygames had to put out a statement asking for fans to not draw porn of Umamusume characters it seems like in order to appease the copyright holders/owners of the horses they based the girls on.

Well to be clear: HTK’s was the art director for BnS. He was in charge of directing the designs of the game even if he didn’t directly design them himself.

I just randomly chose a design I knew was from when he was still art director for the game:
