After I beat 13 I went to the steam store to see how expensive the other two were... then it told me I owned them already. I'm super confused because there's no way I would have spent a significant amount of money on them, especially LR

Every sidequest in the open section in 13 is 'kill this reskinned enemy'. Like the hunt quests in 15 except you had to walk everywhere and it took hours. Your reward was something that slightly boosted your stats.
I swear there was a quest that was more then that but it’s been a while and I might be mixing up main quests and side quest. I’m not gonna be replaying it for a long while until SE makes a 13 series bundle on steam and then discounts it for like over 50% off.
I know it's obvious for 15, but 13 is -so- weird. Like, it doesn't even have any bonus content outside of the main quest. You get that 'open world' segment with a few enemies reskinned with higher stats, but the whole rest of the game is literally a hallway. No idea if I prefer that to the empty, barren open world of 15.
Didn’t 13 have some side quests during the Open World portion too? It’s been a while since I last played FF13.
I don’t find FF15′s open world empty and barren. It could use some more stuff to do and a couple more large cities but I never really feel like “Man, there is nothing in here”. Though, maybe I’m just easy to please because I spend most of my time in FF15 driving around in the car.

Honestly, I don’t know why she’s so against them exactly. Their are plenty of reasons to be because the beastmen can be shitheads themselves too. It’s not a one way street but she seems to not even want to try all that hard considering even when does try she’s just like “lol they weren’t gonna respect the treaty anyways might as well break it first”.
But, then there is the scene in 2.0 when Y’sholta is once again ineffectually chastising her where they make it seem like there is more to it then just her not liking beastmen. Maybe, there is some backstory stuff I’m not aware from 1.0 that explains it.

Merlwyb’s already fucking everything up. Lady’s broke treaty with the kobold leading to titan, displaced a group of beastmen (Mamool’ja) from their homeland with no real way to support themselve so a lot have turned to banditry, and is questionably loyal is the Eorzean alliance.
Not to mention, straight up refuses to make peace with the kobold/sahagin because of reasons
